Cleanwater Purge effectively inhibits scale formation and stains caused by metals in the water. It is specifically designed to work with Cleanwater BlueTM Copper Ion Algicide/Bactericide to purge undesirable minerals from the spa water. Using Cleanwater PurgeTM Scale & Metal Inhibitor helps to assure sparkling clear water and optimum performance of Cleanwater BlueTM. It removes undesirable metals from the water without diminishing the beneficial copper ions of Cleanwater BlueTM. Other metal & scale reducers are not compatible with Cleanwater BlueTM.

Cleanwater PurgeTM is comprised of "empty" CW-286 carrier molecules, much like Cleanwater BlueTM, but without any "parked" copper ions in its receptors. By adding a little Cleanwater PurgeTM every two weeks, trace metals introduced into the spa water from equipment, jewelry, plumbing and other sources are tied up by the CW-286 molecule's negatively-charged "parking places" (receptors). This inhibits stain and scale formation by preventing trace metal precipitation, ensuring sparkling water for you, and protection for your spa's expensive equipment system.
