Cleanwater Prep Calcium Sequestrant gets your spa water ready for the introduction of Cleanwater Blue copper ion Algicide/Bactericide, by removing excess calcium from the water. Using Cleanwater PrepTM ensures optimum performance of the Cleanwater BlueTM system, for smoother, softer feeling water that's gentle to the skin and easier on your spa's equipment system.
In addition to causing scale and other problems in your spa, too much calcium can tie-up some of the copper ions of Cleanwater BlueTM, making it less effective. Cleanwater PrepTM stabilizes the natural calcium level of the water and allows the filter to trap the excess. Add Cleanwater PrepTM at startup for great results.
If your source water is high in calcium or if you have well water, adding a small dose of Cleanwater PrepTM whenever makeup water is added to the spa will assure continued good performance of the Cleanwater BlueTM system.
